How Calibration Works

How it works

  1. You receive a pre-paid FedEx label to attach to your equipment. FedEx will collect from you.
  2. Once received, we will inspect and issue a quote.
  3. On acceptance of the quote, we proceed with the works and issue an invoice
  4. Equipment is dispatched on a next day service after payment.

Calibration or Service?

Calibration

Calibration ensures that the tool performs accurately by measuring it against defined tolerances within a specific set of parameters. It involves, a visual inspection, cylinder splay check, force test with adjustment, replacement safety decals, firmware update, calibration certification on a pass. What if it fails? Service

Service is a more in-depth process, where the machine is stripped and cleaned, re-greased, and calibrated. A service is recommended for older tools or tools which have had heavy use between maintenance.

Jaws & Slings

Jaws & Slings are also calibrated, we polish to remove dust and dirt from the critical areas, inspect looking for specific signs of wear. What if they don’t pass? See our FAQ’s here

Repairs

Repairs follow the same process, any replacement parts will be quoted. What if I don’t want to go ahead? See our FAQ’s here

Warranty Repairs

Warranty repairs will again follow the same process, with the works & shipping free of charge! Is my equipment still under warranty? See our FAQ’s here
